Older trunks in the north, better trunks in the south, Greater Sagefish in the rivers. The raptors on the south coast won't follow you into the water, so swim. On Sundays at two, forty people line the shore for Tastyfish. Old Man Heming sells the Expert book. Buy it.

Half of everything is albacore. The rest is Oily Blackmouth and Firefin, which is where the money is, so people stand in Menethil harbour and pretend they're waiting for the boat.

Catfish and mud snapper. Wailing Caverns isn't far, and you can pull the 1 Ring out of the water down there if you've got the patience.

Lobster in the bays, Winter Squid in season, Stonescale Eel for the alchemists. Nobody is here. That's the appeal.

The whole coast spawns pools, and the whole coast is long. Murlocs at the ends. Up by Auberdine there's a quest for a fishing pole, so there's always someone there.

Redgill, a third of the time. The Ahi for Nat Pagle is in there somewhere and comes up almost never, which is why the quest exists.

Mirkfallon Lake always has two Sagefish pools. Fish one out and another turns up somewhere else on the lake. Everyone knows this, so bring patience or friends.

Run the coast for wreckage; the best trunks in the game come out of it. Stay north of the pirate cove, the pirates don't care what level you are. Steamwheedle Port is safe because the guards are bored. Gikkix on the pier sells the recipes cooks want.

A quarter of what comes up is Deviate Fish, which is reason enough. Ratchet's coast is short and nobody bothers you, and someone has put a fishing chair on the shore. Drift south into Dustwallow and the pools get better and the murlocs get worse.

New in Forever. Krix trains, Gritta sells chum, the goblin dock has boats you can sit in. There's a giant wreckage pool out past the shallows with something guarding it. Bring water walking and someone who can hit things.
