Hillsbrad Foothills
The best-preserved part of the old kingdom of Lordaeron, with green pastures, pine trees and fertile farms. Humans of Southshore and Forsaken of Tarren Mill fight constantly, the Syndicate holds Durnholde Keep, and naga, gnolls and murlocs add to the trouble. A river from Darrowmere Lake runs north to south through the region, and small islands lie off the southern coast, the largest being Purgation Isle.
