Arathi Highlands
Rolling green hills dotted with pines, once the heart of the ancient human empire of Arathor and later the kingdom of Stromgarde. Stromgarde now lies in ruins, contested by the Syndicate, Boulderfist ogres and Witherbark trolls, while the Alliance holds Refuge Pointe and the Horde holds Hammerfall. The Thandol Span crosses the canyon to the Wetlands in the south, and the Circles of Binding stand guarded by elementals.
