Tanaris
A huge, blazing desert of sand dunes and sandstorms in southern Kalimdor, with mountains and deep caverns in the south. The goblins of the Steamwheedle Cartel run Gadgetzan and Steamwheedle Port, which has a dock on the coast, while Sandfury trolls, hyenas, basilisks and silithid roam the sands. The Caverns of Time, home of the bronze dragonflight, and the troll city of Zul'Farrak are both here.
Hal on Tanaris
Run the coast for wreckage; the best trunks in the game come out of it. Stay north of the pirate cove, the pirates don't care what level you are. Steamwheedle Port is safe because the guards are bored. Gikkix on the pier sells the recipes cooks want.
